Lucio Zago
After receiving my degree from the Basel School of Design, I moved
to New York City where I have been working for over 20 years as a graphic designer.
Graphic Design Work:
I have finally returned to ink and paper in the style of the Belgian comics style. Hergé, Morris, Vandersteen, Uderzo, to name a few that have influenced me greatly.
As kids, my brother Nereo (named after my father's brother) and I constantly came up with ideas for comic strips and characters such as Nani, Rubamazzi and many others.
Duet with Bobby
Only recently I discovered an old cassette tape with a recording of my father whistling a song of Edith Piaf. This being the only recording that I have of him, it inspired me to do a piano accompaniment.
